Start By:
- Remove the torque divider.

NOTICE |
---|
When a torque converter or divider has a failure, the complete oil system for the torque converter, torque divider and transmission must be throughly cleaned. Any foreign material which is not removed from the oil system for the torque converter will move through the hydraulic system for the transmission. |
- Remove inner race bearing (2) .
- Use Tooling (A) to remove retaining ring (1). Remove retaining ring (1).

- Remove shaft (9).

- Remove bearing (13) from gear assembly (12).
- Repeat Step 6 through Step 10 for the remaining gears.

- Remove bolts (17) , drain group (18), and the O-ring seal.

140 kg (309 lb) . - Remove cover (27).

- Attach Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device on shaft assembly (28). Remove shaft assembly (28).
