Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the track roller frame.

1. Attach a suitable lifting device to pivot shaft (2). The weight of pivot shaft (2) is approximately 87 kg (191 lb). Remove bolts (1). Use Tooling (A) to remove pivot shaft (2). Remove pivot shaft (2).

2. Remove ring (3) from pivot shaft (2).

Installation Procedure

1. Install pivot shaft (2) in the reverse order of removal.

   1. Raise the temperature of ring (3). Install ring (3) chamfer side out to Dimension (X). Dimension (X) is 365.5 mm (14.4 inch).

   2. Apply Tooling (B) to the flange of pivot shaft (2) prior to installation.

   3. Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 1800 ± 200 N·m (1330 ± 150 lb ft).
