Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the vibration damper and the pulley.

1. Remove front mounting bolts (1) .

2. Remove bolts (2) and bracket (3) .

3. Install Tooling (A) and suitable blocking for support.

4. Lift engine mount (5) from mount (6) approximately 12.7 mm (0.50 inch) from mount (6) .

5. Install suitable blocking under the oil pan.

6. Lower the engine onto blocks (4) and remove Tooling (A) .

7. Remove bolts (7). Remove the crankshaft pulley. Remove bolts (6). Remove engine front support (5) .

Installation Procedure

1. Install engine front support (5) in the reverse order of removal.

   1. Tighten front mounting bolts (1) to a torque of 270 ± 40 N·m (200 ± 30 lb ft).
