Removal Procedure

1. Remove clip (3). Remove hose (2). Remove bolts (4). Remove valve mechanism cover (1) .

2. Remove isolation seal (5). Discard isolation seal (5) .

Installation Procedure

Note: Check the O-ring seals, the gaskets, and the seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.

1. Position a new isolation seal (5) onto the valve cover base. Align isolation seal (5) by using the two locator pins.

2. Install valve mechanism cover (1). Install bolts (4). Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 28 ± 7 N·m (21 ± 5 lb ft).

3. Install hose (2). Install clip (3) .
