Door Pull and Retaining Ring

(1) Door Pull

The Door Pull (1) is located on the front of each door of the cabinets in the UPS 1200 near the top on the door. Refer to Illustration 1 for a representative location. The Door Pull (1) is a circular black plastic cylinder, fitted through a hole in the door and held in place by a Retaining Ring (3) .

  1. Open the cabinet door by turning the two door latches. One at the top right and One at the bottom right of the door. If needed, use a 5/16 inch hex key.

  1. Locate the Retaining Ring (3). The Retaining Ring (3) is located on the back side of the door. The Retaining Ring (3) holds the Door Pull (1) to the door. Refer to Illustration 2.

  1. Spread the Retaining Ring (3) open using a ring spreader. Remove the ring.

  1. Slide the Door Pull (1) straight out from the front side of the door.

Installation

  1. Open the cabinet door and locate the hole near the middle of the door on the right side.

  1. Retrieve the new Door Pull (1). Insert the new Door Pull (1). Insert the flat side first into the hole from the front of the door.

  1. Spread the Retaining Ring (3) using a ring spreader and slip the ring over the Door Pull (1) from the back side of the door.

  1. Seat the Door Pull (1) firmly against the door so that a groove is visible all the way around the cylinder.

  1. Release the ring spreader so that the Retaining Ring (3) firmly seats in the groove.
