(1) Door Latch

There are two door latches (1) that are installed on each door in the UPS 1200. Both are on the right side of the cabinet door. One of the latches is located at the top of the door. The other latch is located at the bottom of the door. Refer to Illustration 1.

There are two styles of latches in the UPS 1200 depending on safely requirements.

One style requires a 5/16 inch hex key to open and the other does not require a key. it is hand operable to allow users access to user operable functions inside the cabinet.

The Maintenance Bypass Cabinet bottom latch differs from the top latch in that the bottom latch has a 20 degree offset pawl. Refer to Illustration 8.
