将卡特彼勒 ELC 加上或混和其它不符合 卡特彼勒 EC-1 技术参数的产品会降低冷却液的功效、缩短冷却液的工作寿命并会造成部件过早磨损。 对于预混合或浓缩的冷却液，只能使用卡特彼勒 产品或符合卡特彼勒EC-1 规格的市售产品。 延长剂只能用于卡特彼勒 ELC。 不遵循这些建议会缩短冷却系统零部件的寿命。 |
如果原先使用的是长效冷却液，就需要用清水把冷却系统冲洗干净。 不需要其他的清洁剂。 使用下述程序来更换长效冷却液。
冷却系统压力盖位于机器后端发动机罩下面。

- 缓慢松开冷却系统压力盖以释放系统压力。 冷却液箱位于机器左侧发动机罩下方。
- 打开底部散热器管上的排放阀。 排放阀在燃油加注口后面。 排放阀可从机器的左边靠近。 将冷却液排放到适当的容器中。

- 用净水冲刷冷却系统直到排出的水清澈为止。 关闭排放阀。
- 更换水温调节器。
参考关于正确的更换步骤，请参阅操纵和保养手册, "冷却系统水温调节器 - 更换"。
- 加入 ELC（Extended Life Coolant，长效冷却液）。
参考有关冷却系统的加注容量，请参阅操作和保养手册, "加注容量"。
- 起动发动机。 在不盖冷却系统加注口盖的情况下运转发动机，直到水温调节器开启，冷却液液位稳定为止。
- 保持冷却液液位在冷却液箱的 "MAX" 和 "MIN" 标线之间。
- 安装冷却系统压力盖。 关闭发动机。
