Such publications include Special Instructions, Systems Operation/Testing and Adjusting, Troubleshooting, etc. Caterpillar also provides training and support in the form of classes for Service Training, news letters, and the Dealer Solution Network. Despite all this information, misdiagnosed fuel nozzles continue to be returned from the field.

Refer to two troubleshooting guides for diagnosing the fuel system. The Troubleshooting Guide, SENR6502 is for the 3114, 3116, and 3126 engines. This guide provides guidance for a number of issues.
