Fuel Setting And Related Information Microfiche Corrected, Improved{0374,0375}

Usage:

All Caterpillar Engines

The first two issues of the Fuel Setting And Related Information Microfiche (Form SBFY1108 - December, 1983, and April, 1984) contained errors. A third issue of these microfiche has been prepared and mailed to dealers. The errors have been corrected and some of the heading descriptions have been marked and/or relocated to make them more visible and convenient. Most of the original specifications have not been changed. However, the fuel setting data for engines equipped with new scroll fuel systems are different from previously published data.

Upon receipt of this September update, the previous two updates of SBFY1108 should be discarded immediately. This will make sure that only correct up-to-date information is available for use.

The previous Fuel Setting Information microfiche libraries (SBFY1106 and SBFY1107) should not be destroyed, since they cover all engines not included in the Fuel Setting And Related Information microfiche. These earlier libraries will be updated during the first quarter of 1985 and mailed to all previous subscribers. That will be the final update of these libraries. If copies of SBFY1106 (Vehicular Engines) or SBFY1107 (Nonvehicular Engines) are needed, they can be ordered on a Literature Order form. U.S. and Canadian dealers can order over the Dealer Terminal System.
