New Oil Filter Group Can Be Used To Extend Oil Change Interval{1306,1318,1326}

Usage:

3306 And 3306B Truck Engines

Description of Change: A new oil filter group is available as an attachment on the above engines. The new group uses larger capacity oil filters and a larger volume of oil to increase the time between oil change intervals. Truck engines equipped with this new group will have a recommended oil change interval of every 500 hours or 40 250 km (25,000 mile). The oil system capacity with oil filters will be increased from 23.7 liter (25 qt) to 38.8 liter (41 qt). Also, because of the change in the oil system capacity a new oil level gauge must be used.

Adaptable As: The new 7W328 Oil Filter Group is available as an attachment on 3306B Truck Engines. The components of this group are shown in Chart A.

The 4W2072 Oil Filter Group can be installed on engines already in the field to increase their oil capacity and oil change interval. This group is adaptable to 3306 and 3306B Truck Engines 76R267-Up and 63Z1-Up. The components of this group are shown in Chart B.

A 4W8590 Gauge Assembly must be used on engines with a front sump 9L5797 Oil Pan Group. A 4W8584 Gauge must be used on engines with a rear sump 9N2916 Oil Pan Group.
