Cylinder Cycle Time - Check

Usage:

651E 4YR
Before you begin the following procedure, refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Machine Preparation for Troubleshooting".

  1. Start the engine. Operate the machine until the hydraulic oil reaches normal operating temperature.

  1. Make sure that the scraper bowl is empty. Stop the machine on a hard, level surface. Run the engine at HIGH IDLE in NEUTRAL.

  1. Lower the scraper bowl to the ground. Lower the apron.

  1. Raise the apron. Refer to Table 1 for the time that is required to completely raise the apron.

  1. Lower the apron completely from the maximum height. Refer to Table 1 for the time that is required to lower the apron.

  1. Raise the apron to the maximum height.

  1. Raise the scraper bowl to the maximum height. Refer to Table 1 for the time that is required to raise the scraper bowl.

  1. Lower the scraper bowl to the ground without placing the bowl control in the QUICK-DROP position. Refer to Table 1 for the time that is required to lower the scraper bowl.

  1. Retract the ejector completely.

  1. Move the ejector to the front of the scraper bowl. Refer to Table 1 for the time that is required to move the ejector forward completely.

  1. Retract the ejector completely. Refer to Table 1 for the return time of the ejector.
