Installation Procedure

1. Inspect the condition of all gaskets. Replace the gaskets, if necessary.

2. Install turbocharger (1) and the gasket.

3. Install four nuts (10) .

4. Slide hose over the turbocharger outlet and install hose clamp (9) .

5. Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound to nuts (10) that are used to mount the turbocharger. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 44 N·m (33 lb ft).

6. Install the gasket and oil supply line (3) to the oil filter base. Tighten flare nut (8) .

7. Install the hose and hose clamp (7) for the oil return line (5) .

8. Install two bolts (2) for oil supply line (3) on turbocharger (1) .

9. Install two bolts (4) for oil return line (5) on turbocharger (1) .

10. Install the bolt (6) and clamps that hold oil supply line (3) and oil return line (5) to the cylinder block.
