(1) Tighten the 8T-4244 Nut to the following torque. ... 30 ± 3 N·m (22 ± 2 lb ft)
Assemble the 8T-4244 Nut (1) to the 138-0224 Control Rod (2). Apply one drop of 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound to the bottom three threads of the control rod. Thread the control rod into the valve to full depth. Turn the control rod counterclockwise until the control rod is oriented to the valve. Tighten the nut (1).
