Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Loosen the track. See the procedure in Disassembly and Assembly, "Track - Separate" in this module.

1. Raise one side of the machine. This side is the side with the track roller which requires disassembly.

2. Use a hoist in order to position Tooling (A) under the track roller which requires disassembly.

Note: A single flange roller weighs approximately 65 kg (140 lb). A double flange roller weighs approximately 70 kg (160 lb).

3. Remove bolts (2) from the caps that fasten the track roller to the track roller frame.

4. Use Tooling (A) in order to remove track roller (1) from the track roller frame.

5. Disassemble the Track Roller. Refer to Undercarriage Reconditioning Guide, SEBF8599.
