Lower the temperature of the bearings prior to installation.
Use Tooling (B) to install the bearings in the frame end pin bores. Install the bearings to a depth of 9.5 ± 1 mm (.37 ± .04 inch).

Use Tooling (E) to install lip seals (16) in the frame end pin bores.

Use Tooling (C) to install the bearings in the lift cylinder pin bores. Install the bearings to a depth of 9.5 ± 1 mm (.37 ± .04 inch).

Use Tooling (E) to install lip seals (15) in the lift cylinder pin bores.

Use Tooling (D) to install the bearings in the bucket end of the lift arms. Install the bearings to a depth of 9.5 ± 1 mm (.37 ± .04 inch).

Use Tooling (F) to install lip seals (14) in the bucket end of the lift arms.

Before installation, coat the bores, the pins, and the lip seals with 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease.

Fasten a hoist and suitable lifting slings to lift arms (4). Use the hoist to install the lift arms. The weight of the lift arms is 1390 kg (3065 lb).

Install pin (13) in the lift arms.
Install the washer, the spacer and bolt (12) in pin (13).
Install bracket (10) on the lift arm assembly.
Connect linkage (11).
Install lamp assembly (5) and bolts (6).
Install harness clip (7).
Connect electrical connector (8).

Install grease fitting (9) on lift arms (4).
Repeat Steps 10 through 17 for the opposite side of the machine.

Attach a hoist and a suitable lifting sling to lift cylinder (3). Align the pin bore of the lift cylinder with the pin bore of the lift arm.
Install pin (2).
Install the washer, the spacer and bolt (1) in pin (2).
Repeat Steps 19 through 21 in order to install the remaining lift cylinder.

Use the machine's hydraulics to raise the lift arms.
Remove Tooling (A).

End By:

Install the tilt lever. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tilt Lever - Install".
Install the tilt cylinder. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tilt Cylinder - Install".
Install the bucket. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bucket - Install".
Install the bucket tilt link. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tilt Link - Install".
