NOTE: | This Program must be administered either before or after failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS45260" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PROBLEM
The lower hitch bearing shim needs to be replaced on certain 906M and 908M Compact Wheel Loaders. The hitch may be incorrectly assembled which can lead to knocking noises from the hitch and early life failure. |

ACTION REQUIRED
Disassemble and replace the lower hitch bearing shim. Refer to KENR5217, Disassembly and Assembly instructions: - "Cab - Remove" - "Loader Frame from Rear Frame - Separate" - "Loader Frame from Rear Frame - Connect" - "Cab - Install" Note: The Disassembly and Assembly instructions must be followed exactly as described to ensure a correct repair. |

Note: 23.0 hours are allowed for completion of this Rework Procedure which includes: cab removal, disassembly (front and rear frame separate), shimming and assembly of the hitch, assembly (front and rear frame connect), and cab installation. Note: Additionally, a maximum allowance of $150 US Dollars is allowed for O-ring and hydraulic oil replacement. |
