| NOTE: | This Containment Program can be administered either before or after a failure occurs. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer and service rep. Obtain the service reps Goodwill Approver Code before completing the repair. EAME dealers should use their standard Industry Group specific goodwill approval codes. The Goodwill Approver Code must be included when submitting the claim. |

If administered before failure, use "56" as Warranty Claim Description and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. PROBLEM
| The AT&T cellular roaming partners are not providing adequate infrastructure to support the Product Link PL522 devices. The result is either a loss or interruption in service resulting in a delay in data communications to VisionLink. |

ACTION REQUIRED
| Replace the PL522 cellular device with a new PLE641 telematics device. Caterpillar Electronic Technician (ET) 2014C and VIMSpc 2011A or newer should be used to perform any software updates. Note: Create a full Product Status Report (PSR) and ECM replacement files for the machine before performing the updates as some configurations and settings could be erased during the software installation process. This will allow a point of reference to restore the settings of the machine after the update. Refer to the attached Rework Procedure. |
