Magneto - Remove and Install
- Place identification on each wire and on each screw on magneto (2).
- Disconnect harness assembly (1) from magneto (2).

- Remove magneto (2) and the gasket.

Reference: For information about timing the magneto, refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Timing of Magneto to Engine" for the engine that is being serviced.
- Place magneto (2) and the gasket in position on the drive housing.

Illustration 5 g00996147 - Connect harness assembly (1) to magneto (2). Use the identification marks in order to connect each wire to the original terminal.
