Start By:

  1. Remove the accessory drive. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Accessory Drive - Remove" for the engine that is being serviced.


NOTICE

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.

Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

  1. Remove O-ring seal (1).

  2. Remove bolts (2) and the washers that hold retainer plate (3) in place.

  3. Remove retainer plate (3).

  4. Remove shaft assembly (4) and the bearings from housing (5).

  5. Install Tooling (A) on shaft assembly (4).

  6. Use a press in order to remove bearings (6) and (7) from shaft assembly (4).
