Service Meter - Remove and Install

Usage:

Removal Procedure

    The magneto is removed for photo purposes only.

  1. Remove bolts (1), clamps (2), and service meter (3) from the drive group.

Installation Procedure

  1. Inspect seal (4) for damage. Replace seal (4), if necessary.

  2. Apply clean engine oil on seal (4) and install seal (4) on service meter (3).

  3. Place service meter (3) into position on the drive group. Ensure that service meter (3) is in the correct position with the groove in the drive shaft.

  4. Install clamps (2) and bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 10.8 ± 2.7 N·m (96 ± 24 lb in).
