MID 036 - CID 1759 - FMI 08 Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor signal abnormal
Conditions Which Generate This Code:
The duty cycle or the frequency of the signal from the atmospheric pressure sensor is out of range.
Additionally, neither of the following diagnostic codes are active:
- 41 - 03 8 Volt DC Supply short to +batt
- 41 - 04 8 Volt DC Supply short to ground
System Response:
The alarm output is activated. The code is logged.
The engine performance is not affected.
Test Step 1. Perform the following diagnostic procedure: PWM Sensor
