(1) Tighten the pulley nut to the following torque.
- 177-7434 Alternator ... 45 to 55 N·m (33 to 40 lb ft)
- 206-6447 Alternator ... 45 to 55 N·m (33 to 40 lb ft)
- 210-7689 Alternator ... 50 to 70 N·m (37 to 52 lb ft)
Note: Test the battery with a carbon pile 4C-4911 Battery Load Tester in order to measure the maximum output from the alternator.
Rated voltage ... 12 volts
Output voltage ... 14.0 ± 0.5 volts
Rotation ... Clockwise
Note: Ensure that the alternator pulley is aligned to the crankshaft pulley within ± 2.40 mm (3/32 inch).
