Spark Plugs - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the transformer. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Transformer - Remove and Install".

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Use a suitable tool to remove spark plug (1) .

Note: The spark plug gap must be 0.28 ± 0.04 mm (0.011 ± 0.002 inch).
Installation Procedure

- Place spark plug (1) in the original location.

- Use a suitable tool to install spark plug (1) to a torque of 30 ± 4 N·m (22 ± 3 lb ft).
End By: Install the transformer. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Transformer - Remove and Install".
