Removal Procedure

1. Remove allen head screw from harness assemblies (2) and (3).

2. Disconnect harness assemblies (2) and (3) from engine control module (1).

3. Disconnect hose assemblies (5) and (8) from engine control module (1).

4. Remove bolt (6) and electrical ground strap (4) from engine control module (1).

5. Remove remaining bolts (6). Remove engine control module (1).

Installation Procedure

1. Install bolts (6).

2. Install bolt (6) and electrical ground strap (4) onto engine control module (1). Tighten bolts (6) to 25 ± 6 N·m (18 ± 4 lb ft).

3. Connect hose assemblies (5) and (8) to engine control module (1).

4. Install harness assemblies (2) and (3) on engine control module (1).
   Show/hide table

   NOTICE
   Ensure connectors are properly aligned and seated before installing the allen screws. Do not over tighten the allen screws.

5. Install allen head screws into harness assemblies (2) and (3). Tighten the allen head screws to a torque of 2.25 ± .25 N·m (20 ± 2.2 lb in).
