冷却液从冷却液源 (3) 经由弯头吸入独立回路水泵 (4)。 冷却液流过后冷器 (1)。
冷却液从后冷器流向节温阀 (2)。 冷却液温度升高前，冷却液分流流向独立回路水泵 (4)。
当冷却液温度升至足以打开节温阀时，冷却液流动路径发生变化。 节温阀到水泵的冷却液流动受阻。 冷却液循环返回冷却液源 (3)。
