Air Starting Motor Silencer - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure

Shut off the air supply at the air reservoir. Drain the pressurized air from the air starting system. The sudden release of pressurized air can cause personal injury. |

- Turn OFF the air supply at the air reservoir. Ensure that the air pressure is drained from the starting air system.
- Remove bolts (1) .

- Remove air silencer (2) and the gasket. Check the gasket for damage. If necessary, replace the gasket.
Installation Procedure

- Check the gasket for damage. If necessary, replace the gasket. Install air silencer (2) and the gasket.

- Install bolts (1) .
- Turn ON the air supply at the air reservoir.
- Check for leaks in the starting air system.
