Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Separate the upper frame from the undercarriage. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Upper Frame and Undercarraige Frame - Separate".

1. Remove bolts (1). Remove swing gear and bearing (2) .

1. Position the swing gear and bearing (2). Apply Tooling (A) to bolts (1). Install bolts (1) and tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 40 ± 7 N·m (30 ± 5 lb ft).

   Note: The swing gear and bearing must be oriented so that the timing Mark "S" is on the left side of the machine.

End By: Connect the upper frame to the undercarriage. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Upper Frame and Undercarraige Frame - Connect".
