Installation Procedure

1. Attach a suitable lifting device to engine (45). The weight of engine (45) is approximately 612 kg (1350 lb).

2. Position engine (45) .

3. Install bolts (44) and bolts (47). Install clip (46) .

4. Attach a suitable lifting device to main pump (40). The weight of main pump (40) is approximately 159 kg (350 lb). Position main pump (40) .

5. Connect main pump (40) to the engine and install bolts (41) .

6. Connect tube (43) and tighten clamp (42) .

7. Connect hose assemblies (39) .

8. Position panel (37) and install bolts (36) and (38) .

11. Connect harness assemblies (27) and (30) .

12. Connect hose (28) to hose (31) and tighten clamp (29) .

13. Connect hose (23) and tighten clamp (22). Install clip (26) .

14. Connect harness assembly (24) to alternator (25) .

15. Position compressor (20) and install bolts (21) .

16. Install the belt and tighten bolt (19). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belts - Inspect/Adjust/Replace".

17. Connect harness assemblies (16) .

18. Position guard (18) and tighten bolts (17) .

19. Connect four hose assemblies (15) .

20. Connect ground strap (14) and harness assemblies (12) and (13) .

22. Connect harness assembly (9) and install clip (10) .

23. Connect hoses (6) and (8). Tighten hose clamps (5) and (7) .

24. Connect the lower radiator hose.

25. Connect hoses (1) and (3). Tighten hose clamps (2) and (4) .

26. Move the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.

End By:

1. Install the coolant tank. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Coolant Tank (Expansion) - Remove and Install".
2. Install the gear pump (fan drive). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gear Pump (Fan Drive) - Install".
3. Install the engine enclosure. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Enclosure Group - Remove and Install".
4. Install the fan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan - Remove and Install".
5. Install the fan guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan Guard - Remove and Install".
6. Install the muffler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Muffler - Remove and Install".
