Failure to relieve pressure before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder can result in personal injury or death.

Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

  1. Raise cab (1) for a distance of approximately 13 cm (5.0 inch). Lower cab (1) onto suitable blocking.

  1. Remove cab (1). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cab - Remove".

  1. Attach a suitable lifting device to tray assembly (2). The weight of tray assembly (2) is approximately 113 kg (250 lb).

  1. Remove bolts (3) and position tray assembly (2) out of the way.

  1. Remove tube assemblies (5) .

  1. Remove cab riser cylinders (4). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cab Riser Cylinder - Remove and Install".

  1. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to cab riser frame (6) .

  1. Remove pin (7) .

  1. Remove bolts (8) and plate (9) .

  1. Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to link assembly (11). Use Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device to secure link assembly (12) to link assembly (11) .

  1. Remove pin (10) .

  1. Remove the cab riser and cab riser frame (6). The weight of the cab riser and cab riser frame (6) is approximately 500 kg (1100 lb).

  1. Attach a suitable lifting device to link assembly (11). The weight of link assembly (11) is approximately 91 kg (200 lb).

  1. Remove bolts (13) and plate (14) .

  1. Use Tooling (D) to remove bearings (16) from link assembly (11) .

  1. Attach a suitable lifting device to link assembly (12). The weight of link assembly (12) is approximately 91 kg (200 lb).

  1. Remove pin (17) and link assembly (12) .

  1. Use Tooling (F) to install bearings (18) in link assembly (12). Install bearing (18) to Dimension (X) .

  1. Use a suitable lifting device to position link assembly (12). The weight of link assembly (12) is approximately 91 kg (200 lb).

  1. Install pin (17) .

  1. Use Tooling (F) to install bearings (16) into link assembly (11). Install bearing (16) to Dimension (Y) .

  1. Use a suitable lifting device to position link assembly (11). The weight of link assembly (11) is approximately 91 kg (200 lb).

  1. Install pin (15) .

  1. Install plate (14) and bolts (13). Remove the suitable lifting device from link assembly (11) .

  1. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to cab riser frame (6) .

  1. Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to link assembly (11). Secure link assembly (11) to link assembly (12) with Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device.

  1. Position the cab riser and cab riser frame (6) for a distance of approximately 13 cm (5.0 inch) above the machine. Lower the cab riser and cab riser frame (6) onto suitable blocking. The weight of cab riser frame (6) is approximately 500 kg (1100 lb).

  1. Install pin (10) .

  1. Remove the suitable lifting device from link assembly (12) and Tooling (C) .

  1. Use Tooling (B) to lower link assembly (11) into position.

  1. Install pin (7). Remove Tooling (B) .

  1. Install cab riser cylinders (4). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cab Riser Cylinder - Remove and Install".

  1. Install tube assemblies (5) .

  1. Use a suitable lifting device to position tray assembly (2). The weight of tray assembly (2) is approximately 113 kg (250 lb).

  1. Use a suitable lifting device to position tray assembly (2). Apply Tooling (G) to bolts (3). Install bolts (3) .

  1. Install cab (1). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cab - Install".

  1. Raise cab (1) in order to remove the suitable blocking.

  1. Lower cab (1) .
