此时将激活监视器 ECM，显示和记录机器并非正常运行参数情况的事件。 监视器 ECM 将检测到一些这类事件，不过，许多这类事件均由机器上的其他控制模块进行检测。 监视器 ECM 通过卡特彼勒数据链路从其他控制模块接收此事件数据，并将根据问题的严重性来确定警告响应的级别。 事件警告分为三种警告级别。 警告级别确定操作员所需的响应。 警告级别 1 表示最轻微的问题，警告级别 3 则表示最严重的问题。 下面提供了警告级别、监视器响应和所需的操作员措施。
警告级别 1 - 图形显示 - 需要操作员注意
警告级别 2 - 图形显示 和 行动指示灯 - 需要更改机器的运行或更改机器的保养以排除状况
警告级别 3 - 图形显示, 行动指示灯 和 行动警报 - 需要立即关闭机器，以防止对机器或人员造成损伤
如果系统中存在多种警告，则会首先显示最高级别的警告。 按向上键 (8) 或向下键 (13) 以查看记录的所有警告。 如果在五秒钟内没有按任何键，显示屏将返回到最高级别的警告。 所有显示的警告消息均在图 2、3 和 4 中列出。
注: 列出的所有警告可能并非适用于所有机器型号。
