Description of Change: New electronic control eliminates erroneous shutdown codes. The electronic control (Detonation Mixing Control Module) has been improved. The improved electronic control (Detonation Mixing Control Module) will prevent passing on incorrect information. Erroneous shutdown codes included 501-10 Noisy Ignition Signal Cylinder One, 501-12 No Ignition Signal Cylinder One, and 190-12 No Flywheel Tooth Signal.
Adaptable To: A new 177-6975 Electronic Control (Detonation Mixing Control Module) eliminates erroneous shutdown codes. The new 177-6975 Electronic Control replaces the 152-3431 Electronic Control. The 152-3431 Electronic Control has been cancelled. The new 177-6975 Electronic Control is a component of the 124-6116 Engine Monitoring Control Group. The new 177-6975 Electronic Control is adaptable to the above engines. The new 177-6975 Electronic Control is effective with G3606 (S/N: 3XF224-UP), G3608 (S/N: 4WF144-UP), G3612 (S/N: 1YG185-UP), and G3616 (S/N: 4CG166-UP).
