Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Install the lip seal (15) with the sealing lip toward the inside of the hub. Put a thin coat of 1P-0808 Multipurpose Grease on the lip of the seal.

Illustration 2 g00482534 - Install the roller bearing (12) and the spacer (13) in the fan drive pulley (2). Partially fill the cavity that is around the spacer (13 ) with 1P-0808 Multipurpose Grease. Install the roller bearing (14) in the fan drive pulley (2).

Illustration 3 g00482531 - Install the shaft (7), dowel pin (10), spacer (8), and the grease fitting (9) to the mounting bracket (11).

Illustration 4 g00482521 - Install the fan drive pulley (2) on the shaft (7). Install the O-ring seal (6) to the fan drive pulley. Install two bolts (4) and the retaining washer (5) in order to secure the fan drive pulley (2) to the shaft (7).
