Oil filter | |
During normal operation, the oil filter is self-cleaning. However, the centrifugal elements must be changed periodically. The internal parts must be cleaned and inspected.
Monitor the oil pressure frequently during operation. Keep a record of the oil filter differential pressure in order to compare the current readings to the earlier readings.
Service the oil filter according to the instructions that are provided by the OEM of the filter.
