Cab - Remove

Removal Procedure

  1. Open the cab door. Lock the cab door in the OPEN position.

  1. Remove three screws (1) and guard (2) .

  1. Remove rubber floormat (3) from the cab.

  1. Remove three screws (4) and cover (5) .

  1. Remove air duct (7) from elbow (6) .

  1. Remove four screws (8) from the cover at the rear of the cab.

  1. Open rear compartment door (9). Remove four screws (10) and cover (11) from the rear of the cab.

  1. Disconnect hose (12) from box (13) .

  1. Remove wiring harness (15) from the side of box (13) .

  1. Remove four screws (14) and box (13) from the rear of the cab.

  1. Remove two bolts (17), the washers and cover (16) from the rear of the cab.

  1. Disconnect electrical connectors (18) and (19) .

  1. Disconnect electrical connectors (20) and (21) .

  1. Remove nine bolts (22) and the washers that hold the cab to platform (23) .


    NOTICE

    Raise the cab slowly. Check for additional lines or connections that could be damaged.

  1. Fasten a hoist to the lifting bracket on top of cab (24), as shown. Carefully remove the cab from the platform. The weight of the cab is 288 kg (635 lb).
