Water Pump - Install - 3003 Engines
Installation Procedure

Note: The water temperature regulator on the 3003 Engine is removed as an assembly with the water pump. The water temperature regulator and the water pump are separate components on the 3013, 3014, and 3024 Engines.
- Remove all debris and gasket material from the mating surfaces of the water pump and the cylinder block.
- Put the gasket and plate (7) in position on the engine.

- Install water temperature regulator (5) and spring (6) in water pump (3) .

- Put the gasket and water pump (3) in position on the engine.

- Install nut (4) and bolts (2) that fasten water pump (3) to the engine.
- Install bolt (1) in the back of the water pump.

- Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities" topic for more information.
End By: Install the pulley and the fan on the water pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan - Remove and Install".
