(1) Locknut

Tighten the locknuts in the numerical sequence that is shown in Illustration 3 to the following torque. ... 38 ± 5 N·m (28 ± 4 lb ft)

(2) Manifold ends

Apply engine oil to the female ends of the manifolds before assembly. Apply 2P-2333 High Temperature Sealer to the male ends of the manifolds before assembly. Remove excess sealer from the assembled joint.

(3) Stud

Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound to the threads of the studs that engage the locknuts.

Tighten the studs in the cylinder head to the following torque. ... 35 ± 5 N·m (26 ± 4 lb ft)
