PROBLEM
The existing signal relief valve can lose the pressure setting on certain 374D L, 390D L, 374D OEM, and 390D L OEM Hydraulic Excavators. If the existing signal relief valve fails, the pressure setting of the valve can move down slowly causing a lack of power or a low implement response of the machine. |

ACTION REQUIRED
Check the hydraulic oil pressure setting of the signal relief valve. Refer to Image1 and 2. Refer to the following documentation in Service Information System: ? 374D Excavator Hydraulic system, KENR7775, Testing and Adjusting ? 390D Excavator Hydraulic system, KENR 7735, Testing and Adjusting If the hydraulic oil pressure setting of the signal relief valve is not correct, an adjustment needs to be performed. If the adjustment of the signal relief valve is not possible, pressure is not stable, or valve is noisy, the signal relief valve needs to be replaced by a new one. Important: Perform the necessary safety precautions when replacing the valve. Refer to your machine's Operation and Maintenance Manual, for additional information. |
