- 从发动机的侧面拆下后凸轮轴检查盖。 从保存位置拆下凸轮轴正时销钉。 使用手摇盘车总成转动发动机，直至可将定时销安装在曲轴和凸轮轴内。
- 接合并锁定手摇盘车总成，以防拧松螺栓 (4) 时发动机转动。

- 从曲轴和凸轮轴上卸下定时销。
- 使用工具 (A) 拧松螺栓 (4) 。
- 卸下螺栓 (4) 和垫圈 (3) 。
- 卸下螺栓 (2) 和盘 (5) 。
- 将垫圈 (3) 放在凸轮轴和盘 (5) 之间。 安装螺栓 (4) 。
- 安装螺栓 (2) 并用手拧紧。
- 均匀地拧紧螺栓 (2) 以便从凸轮轴锥状顶端上拉下凸轮轴主动齿轮 (1) 。
注: 当拉动齿轮，将其与凸轮轴锥状顶端脱离时，要确保螺栓 (4) 已安装以便固定凸轮轴主动齿轮 (1) 。
- 将适当的起吊设备连接至凸轮轴主动齿轮 (1) 上。 卸下螺栓 (2) 、螺栓 (4) 、盘 (5) 和垫圈 (3) 。 从后壳体上卸下凸轮轴主动齿轮。 凸轮轴主动齿轮的重量约为 35 kg (77 lb)。
