(8) Tighten the four mounting bolts to the following torque. ... 28 ± 7 N·m (21 ± 5 lb ft)

Adjust the fuel linkage as follows.

  1. Set the fuel valve (7) to the closed position. Push the stem into the valve.

  1. Rotate the actuator shaft (2) until the actuator is in the closed position (0 percent).

  1. Assemble the lever (3) to the actuator shaft at 90 degrees from vertical as shown.

  1. Adjust the rod and the rod ends (5) to a length of 120 mm (4.7 inch). Provide equal thread engagement on the rod.

  1. Attach the rod to the lever (3) and the clevis (6) .

  1. Hold the fuel valve and the actuator shaft in the fully closed position. Rotate the clevis until the actuator indicator (4) is 2.0 ± .5 degrees from the zero position (closed).

    Note: The actuator indicator is calibrated to show the percentage NOT THE ANGLE that the fuel valve is open or closed. 2 degrees is equal to approximately 5 percent.

  1. Tighten the stop nuts to contact the clevis and the rod ends.
