Disassembly Procedure

Start By:
- Remove the turbocharger. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Turbocharger - Remove" .

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Put an alignment mark on the three casings of the turbocharger for correct alignment during assembly.

- Loosen clamp (2) . Remove compressor housing (1) and clamp (2) from turbine housing (3) .
- Loosen clamp (5) . Remove cartridge assembly (4) and clamp (5) from turbine housing (3) .
