The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.
Problem
After subscribing the assets, dealers checked the Dealer Service Portal (DSP) and VisionLink for confirming that the process was completed to get the assets to populate in VisionLink. But even after a long time, the asset is not reporting in VisionLink.
Solution
Caterpillar is aware of this problem, and this issue will be addressed with the back-office update scheduled for release in early May 2018. As an interim action, dealers facing the issue can raise a Dealer Solution Network (DSN) ticket to correct the issue.
