Šrouby nastavení tloušťky se používají ke zvýšení tloušťky pokládané vrstvy. Šrouby nastavení tloušťky se také používají ke snížení tloušťky pokládané vrstvy. Šrouby nastavení tloušťky nastavují úhel náběhu hladicí lišty, což ovlivňuje tloušťku vrstvy. Zvětšením úhlu náběhu se zvýší tloušťka vrstvy. Zmenšením úhlu náběhu se sníží tloušťka vrstvy.

Chcete-li změnit normální tloušťku zobrazovanou na měřidle (4), musíte seřídit úhel náběhu. Šrouby nastavení tloušťky (2) nastavují provozní úhel hladicí lišty. Na každé straně hladicí lišty je šroub nastavení tloušťky.
Při nastavování úhlu náběhu povolte pojistné matice (1) a (3). Otáčejte šroubem nastavení tloušťky (2), abyste získali požadovaný úhel náběhu. Po provedení nastavení utáhněte pojistné matice (1) a (3).
