Problem

The Dealer Services Portal (DSP) provides no feedback that a subscription request is being processed, or that a subscription request was successful or failed.

Solution

Wait at least 1 minute after you create the subscription. Then, search for the asset in DSP in order to see if the subscription was successfully created.
