New Spacers for Transmission Shafts Two and Three are Now Available for Certain Motor Graders {3063, 3155, 3170}

Description of Change:

ReferenceSpecial Instruction, REHS8790, "Procedure to Rework the Case Bore on Certain Motor Grader Transmission Cases"A new spacer is now available for the machines that are listed above. The new spacers reduce runout in the seal carrier to prevent contact with the transmission case.

Adaptable To: The 451-5615 Spacer replaces 246-8804 Spacer in the 246-8731 Transmission Clutch shaft three.

The 451-5616 Spacer replaces 246-8772 Spacer in the 246-8728 Transmission Clutch shaft two.

The new spacers are adaptable to the following machines:

  • 14M (S/N: B9J1-UP; R9J1-1260)

  • 16M (S/N: B9H1-UP; R9H1-927)

The new spacers are effective with the following machines:

  • 14M (S/N: B9J1-UP; R9J1261-UP)

  • 16M (S/N: B9H1-UP; R9H928-UP)
