Conditions Which Generate This Code:

EID 181 Limited Mobility Mode

Limited Mobility Mode is represented by event EID 181. This code is triggered upon initial startup and remains active for up to 5 minutes while the system initializes. This code has no negative impact on the machine. The purpose of this code is to limit overall functionality until the system is fully operational. While this code is active, the machine will be unable to mode change into autonomous mode.

Test Step 1. ALLOW MACHINE TO COMPLETE STARTUP.

Allow machine to complete startup processes. No further action should be necessary.

Expected Result:

EID 181 will clear automatically.

Results:

  • EID 181 will clear automatically. - STOP

  • EID 181 remains active. The cause of the problem is uncertain. Contact Caterpillar technical support with the information that has been gathered. - STOP
