Description of Change: Minor changes have been made to the pictograph symbols used on the Electronic Monitoring System (EMS) and the Computerized Monitoring System (CMS). The changes make it easier to identify the pictograph symbols.
The usage (or application) of pictograph symbols is not definite. Therefore, different (but similar) pictograph symbols can have the same meaning. The Monitor Pictograph Symbols chart lists the symbols, the changes (if any) and the meaning of the symbol as used on EMS and CMS.
