Spring Used To Hold Valve In Position In Remanufactured Fuel Transfer Pumps{1256}

Usage:

3300 And 3400 Families Of Engines

2S8398 Spring (2) is used to hold the 7E2464 Valve Assembly (1) in position in Remanufactured OR3008 and OR3537 Fuel Transfer Pumps. See Illustration 1.

In new fuel transfer pumps, 7E2464 Valve (1) is held in position by 7E4656 Retainer (4). See Illustration 2. This is possible because new 1W1698 Housings are slightly modified in the area where the retainer is installed. 2S8398 Spring (2) can be installed in place of retainer (4) when repairing the new fuel transfer pumps.
