Assembly Procedure For Duo-Cone Seals Changed{7561,0645}

Usage:

Isopropyl alcohol (99% or greater) has been added to the assembly procedures for all Duo-Cone seals. Isopropyl alcohol is an alternative assembly lubricant to trichloroethane.

------ WARNING! ------

Flammable! Isopropyl alcohol vapor or liquid will ignite. Do not use near open flame, welding operations or other heated surfaces. Avoid prolonged skin contact with isopropyl alcohol. Avoid breathing vapors in enclosed areas without adequate ventilation.

-------WARNING!-------

Isopropyl alcohol (99% or greater) can be used, provided the following conditions are met:

1. Isopropyl alcohol requires a minimum of ten minutes drying time prior to assembly. Drying time can be reduced by using filtered compressed air with less than 70 kPa (10 psi) to force dry the seal area.

2. All safety and disposal guidelines must be followed for flammable liquids.

NOTE: Isopropyl alcohol is available through your local supplier. Refer to the supplier's "Material Safety Data Sheet" before using isopropyl alcohol.
