Description of Change: A new piston skirt is used in the piston group. The new piston skirt has been changed to provide easier assembly to the piston crown. Formerly, if the crown was at the large end size tolerance and the skirt was at the small end of the tolerance, there could be interference between the skirt and crown. This interference could prevent installing the skirt over the lower part of the crown. The new piston skirt will help prevent this problem.
Adaptable To: The new 4P1658 Piston Skirt is a direct replacement for the former 9Y7028 Piston Skirt in the 7E1037 Piston Group.
