3306B (3RG ) Generator Set Engines

Description of Change: Two new temperature regulators are used which reduce the chance of engine overheating. The new regulators are designed to operate within specification according to machine requirements. The former temperature regulator did not always "open" at the specified temperature, and when it did, it would not always "open" far enough. This could cause the engine to overheat.

Adaptable To: The new 7E3361 and 7E3362 Regulators are direct replacements for the former 7N0208 Temperature Regulator (canceled) depending on the application. The new 7E3362 Temperature Regulator has several dimensional changes and a different adjustment screw configuration. The former temperature regulator was used in all of the above machines.

This change is effective for the 7E3361 Regulator with: 621S (8KD628), D4E (31C674, 34C2016, 2DJ217, 7PB715, 76W2666, 77W1161), D5B (8HD583, 5LD398), D6D (36C1523, 37C1417, 38C466, 7XF180, 74W1537, 75W3357), D6D SA (19B818), D6E (2MJ89) Tractors; and 930 (17B662), 930R (57Z2373), 966C (18B1189), 966R (58Z1737) Loaders. This change is also adaptable to first production.

This change is effective for the 7E3362 Temperature Regulator with: 120G (4HD1174), 140G (5MD825) Motor Graders; and 3306B (3RG283) Generator Set Engines. This change is also adaptable to first production.
